MBCC students participate in activities that are designed to encourage a greater awareness of tourism-related issues. “Small Jamaicans Making a difference.” The TAC is an initiative of the Jamaica Tourist Board and serves as a medium through which students at the secondary and tertiary levels can learn more about tourism in a fun, less structured way. It also provides opportunities to share their views on issues arising in the tourist industry. MBCC students participate in activities such as celebrating World Tourism Day; and give back through charity by visiting children homes, one such which is adopted by the club is Garland Children’s Home.

Rooted in the principles of leadership, agriculture, and community service, the 4H Club at MBCC provides a platform for students interested in agricultural sciences and rural development. The club fosters leadership skills, teamwork, and entrepreneurial spirit among its members, preparing them to become future leaders in agricultural industries and rural communities.

“Where words leave off, music begins” focus on having fun and providing a stimulating music learning environment, choirs are a great opportunity to develop ensemble and musicianship skills in a different environment to the music classroom. The Choir also performs at all major College events.
The MBCC Culinary Club
MBCC students gather on a regular or semi-regular basis to take on a large cooking project or explore an unfamiliar cuisine. The Culinary Club is also a fun-filled practical approach to learning about the wonderful world of culinary arts. It includes culinary arts which means “related to cooking”, is the art of the preparation, cooking and presentation of food, usually in the form of meals.

The Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship (UCCF) at the Montego Bay Community College is a non-denominational group that meets at weekly. We also have special Christian events, cell groups, prayer meetings and outreach ministries.
Photography Club
MBCC students can improve their technical skills at this club. Through club meetings and workshops, they learn new techniques and gain a deeper understanding of camera settings, composition, lighting, and other technical aspects of photography. Experienced photographers within the club can provide valuable tips and guidance, helping you to enhance your skills and elevate the quality of your photographs.
Spanish Club
The Spanish Club at MBCC celebrates the richness of Hispanic culture and language. Through cultural events, language workshops, and immersive activities, students explore the diverse traditions, literature, and customs of Spanish-speaking countries. The club not only enhances linguistic proficiency but also fosters cross-cultural awareness and appreciation among its members, preparing them for a globalized world.
The MBCC Peer Councillors
“Serving Students with Excellence.” Peer counselling is a unique way of offering therapy services to society through peers who provide advice and suggestions to people in need. Peer counsellors are students who offer support and guidance to others in their age range who need someone to talk with about how they’re doing
Rotaract Club
The Rotaract Club of Montego Bay (RCMB) is a service organization for young people between 18 and 35 years. The Club was organized on November 2, 2006, and chartered by Rotary International on March 9, 2007. Our motto: ‘Fellowship through service.’
Key Club
Committed to service and civic engagement, the Key Club at MBCC empowers students to make a meaningful impact in their community through volunteerism and leadership.
