LECTURER IN CULINARY ARTS – (CLEAR VACANCY)

 The Lecturer should be highly competent in teaching the following concentrations: 

  • Advanced Baking and Cake Decorating
  • Food Preparation
  • Managing Service Organizations
  • Meat and Seafood Management

 

CAPE BIOLOGY LECTURER – SEPTEMBER 2025 – APRIL 2026 (8 MONTHS)

The candidate’s ability to teach either of the following courses would be an asset:

  • CAPE Chemistry
  • CAPE Environmental Science

 

All successful candidates MUST possess:

  • A Masters Degree from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the related discipline
  • Teacher Training Certification
  • Five (5) years’ teaching experience in a government institution or an institution recognized by the Government of Jamaica

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a genuine interest in helping students, and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team
  • Strong commitment to excellence in teaching using a blended approach
  • Sound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
